Ajax Cubs Visiting Information

Welcome to the Ajax Cubs community! Below is a comprehensive list of everything you need to know during your time with us!

Location:

  • Yellow Brick Building: 215 N Garmisch St, Aspen, CO 81611. The entrance is off of Garmisch st.

Pick-up & Drop-off:

  • Drop-off: 8:00 am

  • Pick-up: no later than 4:15 pm (If you would like to pick up earlier please communicate the timing so we can plan accordingly)

  • Building Access: The building is locked. In the mornings and afternoons we will meet you at the main entrance, off of Garmisch St. (you will see vending machines right next to the front door inside) If we are not present at the door you may call us at 970.300.3426.

Typical schedule (preschool)*:

  • 8:00 am to 9:15 am - Free Play in classroom, or outdoors (weather permitting)

  • 9:30 am to 10:00 am - Snack time

  • 10:00 am to 12:00 pm - Field trip, or outdoor play

  • 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm - Lunch time

  • 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm - free play, or outdoor free play

  • 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm - quiet time

  • 3:15 pm to 3:45 pm - Snack time

  • 3:45 pm - 4:15 pm - free play, or outdoor free play til pick up

*Schedule above is for a Preschool room, and varies slightly day to day dependent on field trips, weather, and other factors.

Paperwork:

  • Below you will find links to all the necessary paperwork needed for your children. You may email them to mireille@ajaxcubs.com, or bring physical copies with you on your first day.

Helpful Handouts

New Child questionnaire

This form is meant to be filled out to help our teachers ensure the most seamless transition into the classroom.

Parent Handbook Agreement Form

This confirms that you have read the parent handbook and agree to its policies.

General enrollment form

This is another vehicle for collecting required information about families. 

Topical Permissions form

This allows our staff to apply sunscreen and any other required creams (diapering) to protect your student.

Media Release Form

This gives us permission to use photos we take during the day for future marketing and informational purposes. 

Field Trip Authorization Form

This allows us to take your student on fun activities outside of the facility. 

Asthma Emergency Plan

This form only needs to be filled out if your child has Asthma.

General Health Appraisal

This includes a general health appraisal and immunization records; part of it will need to be completed by the family’s physician. 

Medication Administration

This form only needs to be filled out if there is a medication children must take while at school.

Seizure Emergency Plan

This form only needs to be filled out if your child has seizures.

Infant Intake form

This is form is specific for any families brining an infant to our program. It asks about their schedule, feeding and more.

Allergy Emergency Plan

This form only needs to be filled out if your child has an allergy that requires the use of an Epi-Pen.
